Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Louisiana, Flexible Shifts

Level 2 trauma center in Lake Charles is seeking EM-experienced NPs for 10- and 12-hour shifts with full travel support.

Highlights

• Multiple 10-12 hour shifts available each month
• Flexible scheduling with options for days or nights

Practice Setting

• High-acuity Level 2 trauma center
• MD and APP team coverage across shifts
• Cerner EMR
• 40-50 patients per 24-hour period

Schedule

• 3-4 shifts/month with ongoing need
• Shift times include 6a-4p, 9a-7p, 12p-8p, and 4p-2a
• Mid-September start preferred

Cases and Procedures

• Bread-and-butter EM plus trauma and gunshot wound cases
• Must perform all core EM procedures: airways, lines, chest tubes, etc.

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Active LA license or IMLC eligible
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, CSR required

Travel Accommodations

• Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage all covered
